Eternal Gift

Sometimes it’s so very easy to take things for granted. We think that we’re going to wake up every morning.

That our next breath of air will be there when we inhale.

That when we go into the kitchen, there will be sufficient food to eat.

That we will have the finances to take care of our bills.

That we will have good health.

I want to thank the Lord for His provisions for me.

The Bible says in Psalm 50:10, that the cattle on a thousand hills belongs to Him.

In Luke 12:22-31, it admonishes us to have faith in God to take care of us.

And He does.

He has taken care of me, in ways that are too numerous to recount. In ways that I wasn’t even aware of.

Not just in material things.

He’s given me health. Peace of mind. Comfort. Joy.
But most of all, He’s given me salvation through the shed blood of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. By accepting the finish work of our Savior on the cross, He gave me eternal life with Him in Heaven.

And that gift of salvation is priceless.

This time that I spend on this side of eternity, is but a fleeting moment. Even if I should live to be 100, it fades in comparison to live forever and ever and ever with the Lord.
It’s so easy to have that blessed assurance.

As easy as A-B-C.

Acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a savior. That you cannot save yourself.

Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and after three days was raised from the dead.

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord of your life and you will be saved.

Just like that!

Now share your good news with someone!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Praise the Lord!
