Repent

(Written May 31, 2014)

Just because you repent doesn’t mean instant or immediate restoral/restoration, if at all. Repenting means that you recognize the sin in your life that has separated you from God. That you are turning away from sin and turning towards God again. In 1 John 1:9, it says, “If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”God’s word says nothing about Him restoring the breach needed to get your attention.

His word says that I will forgive the wrong that you committed.

If He choses in His sovereign will to restore, it is by His grace and nothing else.

It is not for you to expect.

Rejoice in the fact that you have been forgiven and are no longer condemned.

  1. Are you reading the King James Bible or the New testament?

    • Usually I read the NRSV. But it depends on the scripture I want to share. I use a variety of Bibles.

      • Arr. I see. Beautiful all the same
