My Persnickety Weight Loss Plan, Day 185, 8-3-2015

Oh my!Where has the time gone?

I am into day 16 of my sabbatical and it has been virtually impossible for me to keep track of what I’ve eaten or not eaten. Exercising has come to a complete halt. I’ve walked a little bit. But not enough to make a difference. On two occasions, I met my 10K steps, but other than that….no no no no no!

We are both hoping that when we get to Myrtle Beach and we have our own place, that we can get on a better regiment of diet and exercise.

It’s bad when you wake up in the morning and you still feel full from the night before!

Yikes!

And for the first time in my life, I have a stomach!

Double Yikes!

My weight problem has always been in my butt and thighs, but now, all of a sudden, I have a stomach!

Triple Yikes!

And ‘love handles!’

I put on a pair of shorts today….I had to do some major inhaling to button the waist. Now my extra weight has overflowed to the sides of my shorts. So this is what they mean when they use the expression, ‘muffin-top.’ Plus as I am typing this this, my arms are resting on my sides and I can feel my ‘love-handles!’

Breathe! Breathe!

I can still do this!

But I need to get serious again.

Refocused!

Determined!

I think I can!
