My Persnickety Weight Loss Plan, Day 24

IMG_0593What I would like to do is follow what I’m doing for Lent for the rest of the year. I know that would be very restrictive and may cause me to deviate on occasion. But I will really give it some serious thought.
I am so tired of carrying around this extra weight!
Every year, it’s creeping up more and more.
I don’t want to get comfortable where I am. And I certainly don’t want to buy larger sized clothes to fit into. I’d rather wear the few things that I have that I can fit and anguish because I am wearing the same items over and over again, than buying more clothes in a larger size.
The other day, I needed to carry my set of five pound weights upstairs. Now for me, OMG!! were they heavy! Then I tried to put it into perspective with my weight loss goal. I would need to carry around a set of fifteen pound weights to equate to the amount of weight that I not only want to lose, but that I need to lose. Maybe I should buy a set just to keep as a reminder and a motivator for me.
This weight is coming off!!!
